For several years I work actively on the vehicle monitoring systems markets. But only since several years from the start of cooperation with the Albatross System, it turned out that solving problems is possible. Thanks to GPRS S8 series devices, we managed to increase the quality of services, expand the range of project implementation, and what was the biggest nightmare for us - to reduce the number of services.Each service is the costs for us and the problem for the Customer. During the 3 years of cooperation we sent not even one device to the service! Devices works very stable, obtains a wide range of information from the CAN. With the remote possibility of reading the data from CAN, we were able to acquire additional required by customers informations about the parameters of work/drive of the vehicle.Technical support in real time lets us troubleshoot problems virtually on the spot. Sometimes my clients require dedicated projects, with which Albatross System developers are doing professionally. Together, we devise solutions, implement them together - together is easier. One of the projects implemented was supervising the speed of buses carrying miners in areas requiring from drivers a very high concentration and attention - mountains, where the roads are narrow and very dangerous. We installed a few hundred devices, which in real time remind drivers that he has entered in the dangerous zone with a dedicated - different for each of the 50 zones speed. Zones in the shape of polygons are written directly to the device memory and alerts for exceeding drive parameters is immediately transmitted to the driver and does not require communication with the server.

Albatross System - implemented a project of Locator consisting of system components including a central processing unit, housing and mounting. The central unit contained inertial sensors, GPS module, GSM/GPRS, WiFi, Bluetooth, memory card, inductively loaded battery. The housing contains buttons and an interface of central processing unit with a mount, used for immobilization of the device. The assumptions required for the Locator is to track the geographical position, two-way data transmission, voice calls via GSM, responding to the buttons and information from sensors adequately to installed software, running on Android. Implementation of the device proceeded in strict time regime, divided into 3 stages - Concept 4 weeks, delivery of 2 test solutions 10 weeks, completion of the project with the delivery of the injection mold and 5 finished devices that meet the complex criteria - 14 weeks. A professional attitude to the subject, flexibility and vigor of the team of designers allowed the realization of a very difficult (from my perspective) task. Albatross System in 100% has complied with the agreement and timely supplied equipment and injection mold fulfilling established requirements.

Albatross system provides the best devices that reads data from the CAN bus we have ever met on the market. List of the vehicles is very extensive and offers a very large amount of logistic parameters and indicators, and these data are essentials in our projects. The integration of GPRS terminals with our application went very quickly and efficiently, among other things thanks to the professional attitude of Albatross engineers. The devices are very easy to use, practically no configuration is required and a systematic way of data transmission improves their further processing by the monitoring application. Readable format of the data transmitted to us has solved many problems that proliferated when we used the devices of other vendors. This allowed us to focus on our main purpose of serving our customers.

Our implementations mostly focused around passenger vehicles. We have the access to a large database of vehicles with the received data from the CAN bus (a few hundred). Technical materials for the connection to the CAN bus deserves for the high assessment. First off, all the data presented in the specification: “List of vehicles with the received data from the CAN” agree with the reality read out when connected to each of the listed vehicle. Secondly, we have a specific, individually prepared assembly diagram for each vehicle. The installer does not have to seek or wonder where to connect to the CAN bus - we always get the exact picture of the connecting position and the colors of the wires. Thirdly, when connected to the bus CAN/J1708/TACHO/K-LINE(D8) the installer presses the button and the installation is completed. Promised PLUG & PLAY working flawlessly!

Engineering support in real time. Literally! We have an email contact, phone number and what’s most important to us - Skype. During the assembly and implementation when there’s a lot of questions we can always count on the effective help.

We are pleasantly surprised by the attitude of Albatross system in case of implementation of the new functionality expected by us or else by the remote service. This is done in such a way that all the devices for the duration of the service or the implementation of new solutions, simultaneously operate on the diagnostic Albatross server as well as our application. For us, this is an innovative attitude. This attitude provides my client a preview (on line) of all the data transmitted from the device, while at the same time, Albatross engineers verifies our notification. There is also no problem with a need of reading the new data from the CAN bus, check the lack of availability of the operating parameters of the vehicle - including all we receive a remote assistance.

I would recommend Albatross System as a partner for business. Their technology is user-friendly, all solutions are considered and operate on the PLUG & PLAY principle. Very important, if not the most important for us is that they rapidly develop its products also in line with our expectations and requests of our customers. This enables us to grow in step with the development trends of the automotive market and also to offer a new technologies for our customers.
